Maybe just my question on the better-than-expected non-GAAP off-loss. How much of that $2 million of outperformance was from scale or stronger revenue versus the headcount spending? And maybe just on the inflationary concerns, what sort of headwinds are you expecting in this year? Can you just quantify that and how that's baked into the year? Thank you.
Maybe just a my caution.
Question on the better than expected non-GAAP op loss.
How much of that 2 million was out of our performance was from scale or stronger revenue versus the head count spending and then maybe just on the inflationary concerns.
What sort of headwinds you're expecting.
And this year you can you just quantify it.
Baked into the year. Thank you.
Yeah, that's a great question. You know, I, on the, I'll do the, you know, interest for the, I mean, the coverage on the revenue and how well we did, you know, so we were $600,000 better than the guidance on the top end of our range on the revenue. That flowed right down to the margin side. So we got that gain from that out of the $2 million that we exceeded on the non-GAAP operating loss.
Yeah, that's a great question.
On the I'll do the you know interest.
For the I mean, the coverage on the on the revenue and how well we did what we said we were $600000 better than the guidance on the top end of our range on the revenue that flowed right down to the margin side. So we got that gain from that out of the $2 million that we exceeded on the non-GAAP operating loss the.
uh... the rest of it came from efficiencies that we have in the business and some headcount related expenses being less than expected
The rest of it came from efficiencies that we had in the business and some head count related expenses being less than expected. So we did really well on both fronts that the topline and the bottom line.
so we did really well on both fronts that the top line and the bottom line uh... both of their avenues exceeded our guidance
Both those are avenues exceeded our guidance.
And then as far as the rates are.
uh... then as far as the the rates and our current for credit facility has interest rates that are fixed so we're solid on that front and then uh... as we look to expand or increase in that in our credit facility where we'll look at interest rates we're gonna watch the market word looking at statistics over the course time in a bill that alter analysis and then make the proper decisions accordingly
Our current credit facility has interest rates that are fixed so were solid on that front and then as we look to expand or increase in that in our credit facility. When are we gonna look at interest rates were going to watch the market. We're looking at statistics over the course of time, we're going to build out Altera analysis, and then make the proper decisions accordingly.
Great. Thank you.

Thanks, Good afternoon everybody.
Couple of questions a.
A couple of questions on my side, one's easy. Tom, you mentioned obviously some potential FX headwinds out there, some within the second quarter, but also potential for the year. What is your baseline assumption for FX rates from here that's baked into the guidance? And then the deeper one, probably for Peter, a lot of concerns about recession rearing its head globally.
Couple of questions on my side, one is easy.
Tom You mentioned, obviously, some potential FX headwinds out there some within the second quarter, but also potential for the year. What is your kind of baseline assumption for FX rates from here, that's baked into the guidance and then the day, everyone probably for Peter a lot of concerns about recession.
He has had globally.
Talk to us a little about how your, probably pun intended, your business can weather recessions. Obviously, recurring revenue is good, but what are you hearing from your customer base or potential customer base on them wanting to sign up for new contracts given there could be a recessionary environment?
Talk to us a little about how you're probably pun intended your business can weather recessions.
Obviously recurring revenues good but what are you hearing from your customer base or potential customer base on them wanting to sign up for new contracts, given there could be recessionary environment.
Yeah I'll take the first one thinks are on the headwinds and the interest rates.
Yeah, I'll take the first one, thanks, on the headwinds and the interest rates.
Yeah. They you know we did build that into our guidance. So we actually are maintaining our revenue guidance for the full year and that is assuming also that built into that that's the projections in our in our in our guidance. So despite having that and because we do have a large amount of business. That's outside the United States, we are maintaining our guidance for the revenue.
yet the we did build that into our guidance so we actually are maintaining our revenue guidance for the full year and that is a assuming also that built into that uh... that that projections in our inner and i got in so with despite having that
uh... and because we do have a large amount of business that's outside the united states
we are maintaining our guidance for the revenue and then we actually tightened our range for ARR dollars so we moved up the low end of the range to 101 million 205
And then we actually tightened our range for our dollar. So we moved up the low end of the range to $101 million to 105. So we're really confident in our a R. R. As you can see from our results. We also had in the first quarter of $11 million of sequential growth quarter over quarter.
so we're really confident in our error as you can see from our results we also had the first quarter of eleven million dollars sequential growth quarter-over-quarter uh... the confidence in the results we had to one and that lending itself to the guidance that we got the full year
And the confidence in the results, we had in Q1 and that lending itself to to the guidance that we got for the full year.
And Rick to your other question. It certainly is a very very dynamic situation on the global scale. What we have found though is that the stuff that we do for our customers is very very core to them and then we've seen this doing this during the Covid period and we've seen this now.
And Rick to your other question. You know it certainly is a very very dynamic situation on the global scale. What we have found though is is that the stuff that we do for our customers is very very core to them. I mean we've seen this during the during the COVID-19 period and we've seen is now.
customers just really rely on us to run their business. And as such, you know, we've continued to see very, very high net retention rates, you know, above a hundred percent.
Customers, just really do rely on us to run their business and as such you know we've continued to see very very high retention rates above 100% and then also when you look at what are some of those challenges that we see on a global scale.
and then all the when you look at what are some of those challenges that we see on the global scale uh... you know one of them is understanding the global supply chain respire has one of the most unique and insightful use that one can have to our ability to track all of trade on the oceans and all of trade in the air by by tracking on aircraft and and and uh... an ocean uh... best
You know one of them is understanding that global supply chain, where spire has one of the most unique and insightful views that one can have through our ability to track all of trade on the oceans and all of trade in the air by by tracking all the aircraft and end up in the Ocean.

And I think that is potentially even a tailwind for us.
And the other reason that we're concerned on a global scale when you read the media is the geopolitical situation.
<unk> on that on a global scale when you read the media is the geopolitical situation.
And I think we've seen how commercial space companies can bring, you know, truth and transparency to such a geopolitical situation. And we've seen quite a bit of momentum.
And I think you've you've seen how our commercial space companies can bring you know truth and transparency to such a geopolitical situation and and we've seen quite a bit of momentum out from from that area as well I mean as you know, we we now own and operate.
uh... from uh... from that area as well i mean as you know we uh... uh... we now own and operate one of the largest commercial rpg location enabled fleets in the world with forty satellites rpg location enabled i'm on orbit right now
One of the largest commercial RF geolocation enabled fleets in the world with 40 satellites or a geo location enabled I'm on orbit right now so.
You know, as the Chinese say, you know, may you live in interesting times because there are always opportunities to be found. And the very diverse nature of Spire's business affords us, you know, opportunities even in very dynamic and difficult global situations.
You know as the Chinese say you know May you live in interesting times, because there are always opportunities to be found and the very diverse nature of spires business at Ford says you know opportunities even in very dynamic and difficult global situations.
Okay that helps thanks, guys operator before our next analyst question I would like to ask a question from the Sei technologies platform.
Operator, before our next analyst question, I would like to ask a question from the Say Technologies platform.
Last earnings call, Peter said, it's harder to convey spire services to the public since it is not a physical product like rocket lab space mobile with a new head of Investor Relations. How much progress has been made to bring more public attention to aspire.
Last earnings call, Peter said it's harder to convey Spire's services to the public since it is not a physical product like Rocket Lab or Space Mobile. With the new head of investor relations, how much progress has been made to bring more public attention to Spire?
So first of all I really appreciate that great engagement that we've seen on the same platform. Thank you for for sharing your questions. It's like fascinating for us to know what you are concerned about and I'm delighted to answer them. What do we have done is we've deployed a two pronged approach here you know on one hand, increasing resource.
So, first of all, I really appreciate the great engagement that we've seen on the State platform. Thank you for sharing your questions. It's, like, fascinating for us to know what you are concerned about, and I'm delighted to answer them. What we've done is we've deployed a two-pronged approach here. You know, on one hand, increasing resources that we bring to bear, and on the other hand, increase the engagement that we have with the investment community.
Does that bring to bear and on the other hand increase the engagement they'd be happy with the investment community I hope you've seen that we weren't able to to land, a new and highly experienced director of Investor Relations.
I hope you've seen that we were able to land a new and highly experienced director of investor relations with Ben Ackman, and he has over 20 years of experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
With band Ackman, and he has over 20 years of experience in the aerospace and defense industry, but on top of that he was the number two in the Investor Relations Department of Boeing one of as you know most celebrated Investor Relations Department in the industry, but she also has experience in final.
But on top of that, he was the number two in the investor relations department of Boeing, one of its most celebrated investor relations department in the industry. But he also has experience in financial analysis and forecasting, including in his role as a CFO . So in short, he really understands the industry, the numbers and the value proposition of Spire.
The analysis and forecasting including in his role as a CFO . So in short he really understands the industry the numbers and the value proposition of spire.
On the engagement side to give you a few a few stats there and we had three initiations.
On the engagement side, to give you a few stats there, we had three initiations this year already, all of which were buy rating.
This year already all of which were by ratings, we presented at six conferences and have another three schedule just in the next two months and we participated in five non deal Roadshows and we had at least 30 investor conversations already so quite a quite an active calendar you know the good news.
We presented at six conferences and have another three scheduled just in the next two months.
and we participated in five non-deal roadshows, and we had at least 30 investor conversations already. So quite an active calendar. You know, the goodness is that I really enjoy those conversations, and so we look forward to keeping that pace up, and actually indeed, increasing that pace of engagement, and bringing additional resources to bear.
Is that I really enjoy those conversations and so we look forward to keeping that pace up and actually indeed, increasing that pace off engagement and bring in additional resources to bear.
Our next question comes from Jeff Mueller with Baird. Please proceed.
Our next question comes from Jeff Mueller with Baird. Please proceed with your question.
With your question.
Hi, Thank you, it's Steven on for Jeff.
Hi, thank you. It's Steven for Jeff. I guess my first question was, as you move up sort of the data value stack from, you know, clean data to, you know, predictive solutions, what percentage or mix of your customers are currently at those higher level offerings? And then how quickly, I guess, are you seeing customers adopt once they have the initial purchase?
I guess my first question was.
You move up sort of the data values back from clean day, a two parter.
<unk> solutions, what percentage of your Mexican customers are currently at sort of higher level.
Offerings and then how quickly I guess are you seeing customers adopt once they have the initial purchase.
So because it is a subscription where you really have this low friction pathway for our customers to increase.
So because it is a subscription, we really have this low friction pathway for customers to increase the types of services that they procure from us to help them solve further business problems.
The types of services that they procure from us to help them solve for their business problems and that of course, then results in a net retention rate that you know is quite attractive at substantially over 100%. So we see an increasing number of customers take advantage of that and we see that as one of the growth path for <unk>.
And that, of course, then results in a retention rate that is quite attractive at substantially over 100%. So we see an increasing number of customers take advantage of that. And we see that as one of the growth paths for Spire over the many years to come.
Fear over the many years to come to offer additional solutions up that value chain to our customers.
to offer additional solutions up that value chain to our customers.
Yeah, and we've seen the improvement obviously in the first quarter with our net retention rate increasing from 104% a one O six and as we had said previously that our calls the back half of the year, we really spent on adding new logos and new are our customers and now we're starting to see the benefits of having those two to now.
in the first quarter with our net retention rate increasing from 104 percent to 106.
And as we had said previously, calls.
The back half of the year, we really spent on adding new logos and new ARR customers. And now we're starting to see the benefits of having those to now do the expand part of the LAN to expand, and as Peter mentioned, you know, we have four solutions so that we can cross sell, we're in so many industries. We can sell both the government commercial and all these different avenues. We have the chance to go sideways and then also up the stack.
I'll do the the expand part of Atlanta expand and as Peter mentioned, you know we have four solutions. So that we can cross sell where in so many industries. We can sell both the government commercial and all these different avenues, we have the chance to go sideways.
Then also up the stack them, so really great opportunity for us to keep driving that net retention rate up as Atlanta customer because we give them. So many different options and use cases that we can solve.
uh... so really great opportunity for us to keep driving that uh... net retention rate up
as we're laying the customer, because we give them so many different options and uses that we can solve.
Great and then.
You know, me to expand on an earlier question, the additional on orbit services you referenced as part of the January launch just help us understand sort of what those additional capabilities are and then sort of how quickly I guess, you know, that.
We can expand on an earlier question. The additional on orbit services you referenced that's part of the January launch.
Just help us understand sort of what those additional capabilities are.
How quickly I guess.
That.
Yeah.
you know, how many, how many more satellites necessary in order for the constellation to be able to leverage those, those new capabilities.
How are you more satellites are necessary in order for that calculation to be able to leverage those those new capabilities.
So there aren't capabilities, which we develop on them almost weekly basi and upload to our SaaS Alliance through software upgrades, Jeff as you know.
So there are capabilities which we develop on an almost weekly basis and upload to our satellites through software upgrades, Jeff, as you know, the RF geolocation being a classic example of that.
The RF geolocation being a classic example of that other capabilities that I immediately available to customers upon launch and have been now numerous spacecraft is is the computing at the edge, which brings AI and machine learning capabilities on a supercomputer type level two on orbit.
Other capabilities that are immediately available to customers upon launch and have been on numerous spacecraft is the computing at the edge, which brings AI and machine learning capabilities on a super computer type level to on orbit data collection and analysis, something that we have rolled out both internally for SPIRE but also for our customers.
Data collection and analysis something that we have rolled out both internally and forest fire, but also for our customers.
And then geolocation, sorry, the RF inter-satellite links, you know, they provide benefits not just on a full constellation basis, but also as we give customers access to it on small clusters.
And then geolocation, Oh, sorry, the RF into satellite links you know they provide benefits not just on a full constellation basis, but also as we give customers access to it on small clusters, where they then can do things like geolocation am I using a <unk>.
where they then can do things like geolocation using a small cluster based on the RF geolocation and the exceptional knowledge that SPIRE satellites have about the time on orbit, their location on orbit, and their relative speed on orbit, which is an outcome of our particular data products where we had to develop exceptional knowledge and precise orbit determination, all of which now flows into the products that we offer to customers.
Small class there based on the RF geolocation and the exceptional knowledge that spy satellites have about their time on orbit and their location on orbit and their relative speech on orbit, which is an outcome of our particular data products, where we had to develop exceptional now.
All of the edge and precise orbit determination all of which now flows into the products that we offer to customers. So those capabilities by and large are available at launch immediately and then increase in value over time.
So those capabilities, by and large, are available.
at launch immediately and then increase in value over time.
Great. Thanks.

Hi, good evening.
Hi, good evening. I have a couple of questions for you. And the first one is, if we look at the revenue growth for the quarter, how much of it came from Exact Earth and how much was contributed from the legacy business?
I had for you.
And the first one is if we look at the revenue growth for the quarter how much of it came from exact Earth and how much was contributed from the legacy business.
So we don't break out our in our maritime business, because we simply can't think of it. This way you can take a picture of water from the Lake of Michigan and you take a picture of Florida from the Lake, Ontario, Once you mix them and use them to water your plan.
So we don't break out in a maritime business because we simply can't.
You take a picture of water from, you know, Lake of Michigan, and you take a picture of water from the Lake Ontario, once you mix them.
and use them to water your plants, it's very, very hard to know which water is increasing the growth of your plants.
It's very very hard to know, which water is increasing the growth of your plant. The teams are fully integrated operating as one team side by side without any distinction and so it really is revenue from the marriage time business that flows into that full revenue pick.
The teams are fully integrated, operating as one team, side by side, without any distinction. And so it really is revenue from the maritime business that flows into that full revenue picture without any separation of, does it come out of the lack of Ontario, or does it come out of the Lake of Michigan?
Sure without any separation off does it come out of the lack of Ontario or does it come out of the Lake Michigan.
Okay. So can you can you breakout for us what percentage of the revenue came from the maritime business.
Okay, so can you break out for us what percentage of the revenue came from the maritime business?
We don't separate our our business out by Mary time, or aviation or space services as you know because it is all from one shared infrastructure.
We don't separate our our business out by maritime or aviation or space services, as you know, because it is all from one shared infrastructure.
And so that leverage that sits on that infrastructure really makes it impossible and actually not very helpful.
And so that leverage that sits on that infrastructure really makes it impossible and actually not very helpful to understand how our business operates. And it doesn't reflect the cross-selling that also happens as customers use multiple solutions from us using that one integrated infrastructure.
To understand how our business operates and it doesn't reflect the cross selling that also happens as customers use multiple solutions from us I'm using that in one integrated infrastructure.
Yeah, because we will embed the the pricing when we're doing the multi solutions into one one price in one fee and it just gets mingled together. So it is unable to be broken out.
Yeah, because we'll embed the pricing when we're doing the multi-solutions into one price and one fee, and it just gets mingled together, so it's unable to be broken out. The one thing, too, to note, though, on the revenue is that we did exceed the guidance for the first quarter. So as a combined force, we put the guidance forth as a combined company, and then we exceeded that guidance at the top end of the range.
The one thing too to note, though on the revenue is that we did exceed the guidance for the first quarter. So as a combined force we put the guidance for us as a as a combined company and then we exceeded that guidance to the top end of the range.
Okay, and then what exactly do you think you will need to raise additional capital I mean, I know you've mentioned in the last quarter. A couple of quarterly calls that you are looking at options, but I mean, when specifically, how you're thinking about it and what kind of order of magnitude.
Okay, and then when exactly do you think you will need to raise additional capital? I mean, I know you've mentioned in the last couple quarterly calls that you're looking at options, but when specifically are you thinking about it and what kind of order of magnitude are you thinking about?
Thinking about.
Yeah, you know as I am.
Yeah, you know, as we mentioned, we are looking into all these different options. We're weighing out how the interest rates are bearing. You know, we have our current situation. So we do have ninety two million dollars of cash and cash equivalents.
We mentioned we are looking into all these different options, we're weighing out how the interest rates are bearing.
We have our current situation. So we do have $92 million of cash and cash equivalents. So you know, we like where the balance sheet is right now and we are looking at it to augment and make it even better than it is today with looking at these options, so where we're continually evaluating were watching things carefully.
So, you know, we like where the balance sheet is right now. And we are, yeah, looking at it to augment and make it even better than it is today with looking at these options. So, you know, we're continually evaluating. We're watching things carefully. And obviously, when we're ready to post the information, we'll do so.
Obviously, when we're we're ready to propose the information we will do so.
Well, do you think it'll be within a year? I mean, if you've burned through, what, $20 million in cash this quarter, is it fair to think that within a year?
Do you think it will be within a year I mean, if you burned through about $20 million in cash this quarter.
Is it fair to think that within the year that should happen.
I mean and Elizabeth as you know, we feel very comfortable with the balance sheet to drive the guidance that we've given but we feel very comfortable with the stake in the ground that we have made in terms of turning cash flow positive within 22 to 28 months, which means that we will turn them.
I mean, Elizabeth, as you know, we feel very comfortable with the balance sheet to drive the guidance that we have given. We feel very comfortable with the stake in the ground that we have made in terms of turning cash flow positive.
within 22 to 28 months, which means that we will turn, you know, adjusted EBITDA positive and then operating margin positive before that, you know, as it flows through the waterfall. And we evaluate situation as if and when something makes sense.
Adjusted EBITDA, a positive and an operating margin positive before that you know as it flows through the waterfall.
And we evaluate the situation as if and when something makes sense, but I think I think the momentum that we have carried from the fourth quarter of last year through this first quarter of this year, beating our topline raising our our our guidance on the top and.
But I think I think the momentum that we have carried from the fourth quarter of last year through this first quarter this year.
beating our top line, raising our ARR guidance on the top end, you know, we feel actually quite good about the progression and execution of the business, and the support that we have from our balance sheet to continue on that pathway.
We feel actually quite good about that progression and execution of the business and the support that we have from a balance sheet to continue on that pathway.
Yeah, and especially with having the the less the less of a loss in the first quarter and then improve in the guidance for the full year on a on a non-GAAP operating loss guidance, we're actually spending less than than originally targeted.
Again, especially with having the less of a loss in the first quarter and then improving the guidance for the full year on our non-gap operating loss guidance, we're actually spending less than originally even targeted.
Okay and then the final question I have is.
And then the final question I have was, what's the landscape looking like for you in terms of hiring? Do you think it's been tougher than you expected and is that potentially why the headcount expenses were a tailwind to the quarter? Is it just because the hiring environment is so difficult or what was the driver behind
What's the landscape looking like for you in terms of hiring is it.
I mean is it do you think it's been tougher than you expected and is that potentially wide.
<unk> expenses were a tailwind to the quarter or is it just because of the hiring environment is so difficult or.
What was the driver behind that.
You know certainly there is evidence of a very tight labor market, but you know spire benefits from being a mission driven company and a highly attractive industry that new space sector and as such we were fortunate enough having one of our most successful I'm hiring quarters in the history of spire.
You know, certainly there is evidence of a very tight labor market, but, you know, Spire benefits from being a mission driven company in a highly attractive industry, the new space sector, and as such.
We were fortunate of having one of our most successful hiring quarters in the history of Spire.
Um, we do constantly look for efficiencies and scale in the business.
We do constantly look for efficiencies and scale in the business and we certainly see that and benefit from that and you know we have been able to pick up a few things here and there extra than what we originally planned which led to improvements not just on the top line, but also on the bottom line, but absolute.
And we certainly see that and benefit from that. And we have been able to pick up a few things here and there extra than what we originally planned, which led to improvements not just on the top line, but also on the bottom line. But absolutely, Elizabeth. I mean, it is a very tight labor market. But at Spire, we get to work on mission-critical products for our customers that drive towards a more sustainable and equitable future.
And isn't it I mean, it is a very tight labor market, but its spire, we get to work on mission critical products for our customers that drive towards a more sustainable and equitable future.
And we're nearing the hurricane and wildfire season. And we expect that the world will, again, turn more and more to the impact of climate change and look even more dynamically for data and solutions that help companies and governments alike manage that impact of climate change. Now, that's a very attractive area to be spending your time on. Our data and solutions for tackling global supply chain or the geopolitical hotspots, they are topical and on a global scale.
And you know we are nearing the hurricane and wildfire season, right and we expect that the world will again turn more and more to like the impact of climate change and look even more dynamically for data and solutions that help companies and governments alike manage the impact of climate change and that's a very attractive area to be spending a ton.
I'm, all right, our data and solutions for tackling global supply chain or the geopolitical hotspots. They are topical and on a global scale.
And that's really helpful for us in attracting the best talent from a global pool, even in a very, very tight labor market that absolutely exists.
That's really helpful for us in attracting the best talent from a global pool them, even in a in a very very tight labor market that's absolutely exists.
But we are a mission driven company that offers people to work with data from space in AI and machine learning data analysis on data from space in a truly global organization and I think that affords us some some advantages.
But we are a mission-driven company that offers people to work with data from space and AI and machine learning data analysis on data from space in a truly global organization. And I think that affords us some advantages.
Okay. Thank you very much.
Of course.

Hey, good evening. Thanks for taking my questions, and congrats on the momentum.
Peter.
Peter, I appreciate your comments on the prior question about how difficult it is to segment the business from a revenue standpoint, but I guess can you even just roughly comment or give a sense for how big the space services business is as a percentage of ARR? And I'm only really asking because it does seem to be a fairly different flavor of revenue with different kind of unit economics and marginal costs dynamics.
I appreciate your comments on the prior question about how difficult it is to <unk>.
<unk> the business from a revenue standpoint, but.
I guess can you can even just roughly comment or give us a sense for how big the space services businesses as a percentage of a R. R.
And I'm only really asking because it does seem to be a fairly different flavor of revenue.
With different kind of unit economics, and marginal cost dynamics.
So would love to get a sense for how how much how big that is within the overall business at this point.
So we'd love to get a sense for how big that is within the overall bill.
So we certainly are excited about this type of business.
So, we certainly are excited about this type of business. It allows us to leverage one of the largest scale operations in the industry, Spires, with 350 years of space heritage, 150 satellites launched, tens of thousands of contacts a month between our satellites and ground stations, terabytes of data processed, shipped to hundreds of customers.
It allows us to leverage one of the largest scale operations in the industry spires with three around 50 years of space Heritage Hum 50 satellites launched tens of thousands of contact a month between our satellites and ground stations.
Terabytes of data process chips to hundreds of customers.
and making it as easy as accessing an API for companies to leverage space to solve their problems.
And making it as easy as accessing an API for companies to leverage space to solve their problems.
It is a very very large Tam and if you look at and Tam analysis that we've done in a little while ago. You see that you know it is a very very meaningful portion of our Tam and just as Amazon AWS is a very meaningful portion of especially the the profitability and the cash flow.
It is a very, very large TAM, and if you look at TAM analysis that we've done a little while ago, you see that, you know, it is a very, very meaningful portion of our TAM. And just as Amazon AWS is a very meaningful portion of especially the profitability and the cash flow production for Amazon, you know, we really like this business.
Production for Amazon, we really like this business.
Unfortunately at this point in time, we can't really break it out because it is a shared infrastructure.
Unfortunately, at this point in time, we can't really break it out because it is a shared infrastructure.
So we are not yet add like that massive scale, which will allow us to easily break out because it's maybe like get a little bit more dedicated infrastructure. It is shared <unk>.
So we are not yet at like that massive scale which would allow us to easily break out because it's maybe like a little bit more dedicated infrastructure. It is shared across customers. So we don't really have a good number that we can share at this point in time.
Ross customers. So we don't really have a good number that we can share at this point in time.
Okay I appreciate its shared infrastructure, but arent arent these distinct contracts.
Okay. I mean, I appreciate it's shared infrastructure, but aren't aren't these distinct contracts?
We manage our SAR contract, we do have we do have existing yes. We do we do have existing contracts you know I have like a large number of them.
We do have existing contracts, a large number of them, they are subscription-based contracts.
They are subscription based contracts, but when you when you want to talk about a separate business you don't want to talk about it just from one side of your off of your of your income statement you want to have a sense of the of the full side of it right and and we can't do this easily because it is the shared infrastructure.
uh... but when you when you want to talk about a separate business you don't want to talk about it just from one side of your of the of your of your income statement you want to have a sense of the of the full side of it right and uh... and we come do this usually because it is the shared infrastructure uh... uh... that that cross virtualizes the various solutions here
Hum.
That that you know cross fertilize the various solutions here.
So at this point, unfortunately, I can't really give you anything much additional.
So at this point.
Unfortunately, I can't really give you anything how much additional but I'm happy to continue that conversation and see if there's maybe other ways of answering what you truly trying to understand here is.
uh... but i'm happy to continue conversation see if there's maybe other ways off answering what you truly trying to understand here it is a highly profitable uh... high-growth business just as our other businesses it is a subscription business just like our other businesses that is focused on delivering our customers data just like our other businesses
It is a highly profitable high growth business chest as all other businesses. It is a subscription business just like all other businesses that is focused on delivering on our customers' data just like all other businesses. So there is some differences to it but they might be substantially less.
So there is some differences to it, but they might be substantially less than one would think, especially from a business perspective. And maybe it's worthwhile spending some extra time from us to explain that even in more detail.
Less than one would think especially from a business perspective, and maybe it's worthwhile spending some extra time from us to explain that even in more detail. Okay. That's helpful and then Tom.
Okay, that's helpful. And then, Tom, I think the incremental gross margins were, hopefully my math's right, at 22% on a year-over-year basis.
Tom I think the incremental gross margins were.
Hopefully my math right at 22% on a year over year basis.
You know, I know you had a full quarter of exact earth, that probably drove a lot of that dilution. But was there anything else at play in the quarter that drove that, that we should be aware of? And then any comments you can make about incremental growth margins through the remainder of the
I know you had a full quarter of exact or if that probably drove a lot of that dilution, but was there anything else at play in the quarter that drove that that we should be aware of them. Any comments you can make about incremental gross margins through the remainder of the year, Yeah, you're exactly right that this there are a quite a few metrics and numbers that we've got now is kind of setting.
Yeah, and you're exactly right that this there are quite a few metrics and numbers that we've got now. It's kind of setting a new baseline with having exact earth. So it was a full quarter of having them on board.
A new baseline with having exacter. So it was a full quarter of having them on board and.
And the gross margins they have a little bit had a different dynamic of their business. They had a much higher cost of revenue, but at significantly lower opex as a percentage of revenue so.
In the gross margins, they had a different dynamic of their business. They had a much higher cost of revenue, but a significantly lower OPEX as a percentage of revenue, so Organic Spire was kind of different, opposite in that regards, and that was one of the reasons why we said we weren't going to give guidance in the gross margin, gross profit area, but to really focus on the non-GAAP operating loss because then it balanced those two things out with a different dynamic of the business.
Organic spire was kind of different opposite in that regards and that was one of the reasons. Why we said, we weren't going to give guidance and the gross margin gross profit area, but to really focus on the on the non-GAAP operating loss because then it it balance those two things out with a different dynamic of the business. So.
And again, we did really well on that front with exceeding our guidance of $2 million on the first quarter and then actually improving the guidance in the full year on the non-GAAP operating loss.
So and again, we did really well on that front with exceeding our guidance of 2 million on the first quarter and then actually improving the guidance on the full year on a non-GAAP operating loss.
But to answer your question, though, I would say this is starting like a new baseline with having them on board.
But to answer your question, though I would say this is this is starting like a new baseline with having them on board and we do expect just like we did before that those those numbers will improve over time, because we have that leverage infrastructure that still exists and we're still going to have a certain parts of the cost structure that are very maintained and stable wild.
And we do expect, just like we did before, that those numbers will improve over time because we have that leverage infrastructure that still exists.
and we're still gonna have a certain parts of the cost structure that are very maintained and stable
while the revenue keeps increasing so uh... it did drop because of the acquisition and having the new profile but we do expect the same thing to happen as as uh... we were doing organically which is growing it over the course of time with the leverage infrastructure
The revenue keeps increasing so it did drop because of the acquisition and having the new profile, but we do expect the same thing that happened is as we were doing organically, which was growing at over the course of time with the leveraging infrastructure.
Got it. So as we go to Q2 and Q3, if I'm just on a sequential, incremental, gross margin basis, sequential, incremental, gross margin basis, we should be looking back into like the 60% plus range.
Got it so as we go into Q2 and Q3, just some a sequential incremental gross margin mountain muscle sequential incremental gross margin basis, we should be looking back into like the 60% plus range.
yeah i'm not going to let it be a number but it should be back in like a healthy range we we do expect the it could be increasing as we go through time
Yes.
Yes.
It should be back in a healthy range, we do expect it to be increasing as we go through time.
But this is this is setting a new baseline for us. It's a point in time and now we have to kind of move ourselves forward from from that having that different dynamic but at the same token. If you look at our operating expenses as a percentage of revenue we saw the lowest levels. We've ever had in years and that was mainly due to the their dynamics. It was.
But this is setting a new baseline for us. It's a new point in time. And now we have to kind of move ourselves forward from having that different dynamic. But in the same token, if you look at our operating expenses, the percentage of revenue, we saw the lowest levels we've ever had in years. And that was mainly due to their dynamic was different. Getting all that revenue without the operating expenses as much as we had organically before. Right, yeah, that was impressive. All right, thanks, guys.
Different getting all that revenue without the the.
Operating expenses as much as we had organically before.
Right.
Alright, Thanks, guys I appreciate it I'll leave it there.

Hi, good evening.
Hey, Josh.
How can you make some comments just on third party cost launch insurance how are those trending.
Can you make some comments just on third party costs, you know, launch, insurance, how are those trending? You know, is that layer of the stack that shares, you know, cost coming down or inflationary headwinds masking that?
That layer of the stack matures cost coming down or inflationary headwinds masking that.
Yeah.
You know on the launch side you saw that we were able to switch from one launch provider, which had you know and we'd be the difficulties to a new launch provider and go from first call to integration off our satellites in 21 days.
You know, on the launch side, you saw that we were able to, you know, switch from one launch provider, which had, you know, a wee bit of difficulties, to a new launch provider and go from first call to integration of our satellites in 21 days.
So we definitely see an increase in launch provide us.
So we definitely see an increase in launch providers that are helping us solve our customers' problems with greater reliability and more attractive costs.
That are helping us solve our customers' problems with you know with with greater reliability.
And and and and more attractive cost. So overall I would say generally when you have increasing them supply them.
So overall, I would say generally when you have increasing supply, that is a deflationary pressure in those markets. So net-net, you know, we're not seeing, you know, a huge thing here from an inflationary perspective from third-party providers.
That is it is a deflationary pressure.
Ah in those market. So net net you know we have not seen a huge thing here from a from an inflationary perspective from from from third party I'll provide us.
There's also lines up gallons of some of those providers being not in U S dollars and so then you get a benefit from that as well it sounds like you know if I'm if I'm the FX exchange rate so.
There's also like the balance of some of those providers being not in U.S. dollars and so then you get a benefit from that as well from the FX exchange rate. So it's not been actually a big story for us to be honest.
It's not been actually a big story for us to be honest.
And then just broadly speaking on the sales cycle one of my favorite topics I mean, any changes with the macro uncertainties.
And then just broadly speaking on the sales cycle, you know, one of my favorite topics, any changes with the macro uncertainties? You know, you guys are educating your customers.
You guys are educating your customers.
Youre getting faster, but any any noticeable change the macro uncertainties.
getting faster but any any noticeable change with the macro uncertainties?
So.
When the world gets more uncertain people are looking for things that are reliable.
When the world gets more uncertain, people are looking for things that are reliable and they can lean on.
And they can lean on.
And that's exactly the strength of spire.
And that's exactly the strength of Spire. We run a massive scale operation, proven, with experience for many years, serving some of the world's most demanding customers.
We run a massive scale operation proven.
With experience for many years, serving some of the world's most demanding customers.
And so.
And so it's a little bit like, you know, when in doubt, buy IBM. And in more and more instances, Spire is the IBM solution here that is tried, proven operational at scale that customers can and are trusting.
It's a little bit like when in doubt my I B M.
And then more and more instances spire is the I B M solution here that is tried and proven operational at scale that customers can and are trusting.
So I think that's probably how we experience it mostly right now.
So I think that's probably how we experience it mostly right now.
Add on to that on the on the time.
We're actually seeing some customers shorten and our sales cycles actually shorten in the near term and that's because...
We're actually seeing some customers shorten our sales cycles actually shorten and in the near term and that's because with these tough times ours use cases solve problems for them when say like for example, petrol or gas prices are going up we give them solutions for better tracking for whether theres their airplane their vessel wrapping whether around it that is.
With these tough times, our use cases solve problems for them when, say, like, for example, petrol or gas prices are going up. We give them solutions for better tracking for whether it's their airplane, their vessel, wrapping weather around it. That has a much more accurate forecast. They're able then to lower their cost structure. So they're coming to us, especially during these times, sometimes faster and then asking to close the sale cycle quicker.
A much more accurate forecasts, they're able to them to lower their cost structure. So they are coming to us, especially during these times, sometimes faster and then asking the close the sales cycle quicker because of the use cases that we're solving for them since they are facing some inflation issues and the cost increases and then we can actually negate that through our solutions.
because of the youth cases that we're solving for them since they're facing some inflation issues and cost increases, and then we can actually negate that through our solutions.
Got it.
So you can fund.
Ladies and gentlemen, we have reached the end of the question and answer session and I would like to turn the call back to Mr. Peter <unk> for closing comments.

Really really appreciate the questions and engagement I mean in closing we are immensely positive about the momentum we see in the business as showcased by our results in the first quarter exceeding our guidance both on the topline and the Bottomline and we recognize the fortunate.
Really, really appreciate the questions and engagement. I mean, in closing, we are immensely positive about the momentum we see in the business as showcased by our results in the first quarter, exceeding our guidance, both on the top line and the bottom line. And we recognize the fortunate position we occupy at this very crest.
Position, we occupy at this very crest of a massive transformation wave of leveraging space to solve problems on Earth b, the climate change or geopolitical tensions.
