Good afternoon guys.

Speaker 4: Good afternoon. In terms of the plan to get you to a sustained period of operating

Good afternoon.

In terms of the.

Planned to get you to a sustained period of operating income.

Speaker 4: It appears that's going to be contingent on, you know, improving gross margins more because you have a good cost operating cost structure. So how should we

It appears that is gonna be contingent on you know improving gross gross margin more because you have a good cost operating cost structure.

How should we look at it in terms of.

You know generating I guess increased sales to help the utilization and.

Speaker 4: you know, generating, I guess, increased sales to help the utilization and...

In terms of just being able to produce a different type of sales mix, how should how should we look at that going forward.

Speaker 4: terms of just being able to produce a different type of sales mix, how should we look at that going forward?

Well Howard App. This year. This year, it's been all about business development with our with the onset of Covid.

Speaker 4: Well, you know, Howard, uh, this year, this year, it's been all about business development, you know, with, uh, with the onset of COVID, uh, you know, military spending.

You know military spending was not necessarily reduced but orders werent placed as timely as they should and we kind of suffered through that.

Speaker 4: not necessarily reduced, but orders weren't placed as timely as they should, and we kind of suffered through that this year, some last year, and some this year, because materials in this environment or in this field are roughly a year out, if you're lucky.

This year, some last year and some this year because materials in this in this in this environment or in this field are roughly a year out if you're lucky.

Speaker 4: So we're seeing now, you know, this single product that caused us a little bit of angst and grief this year, a special alloy, an Inco718, that the OEMs qualify the mills and they saw the need now to bring more people and more mills into the mix.

So we're seeing now.

This single product that caused us.

A little bit of angst and grief this year.

Special alloy in April 2018.

The Oems qualify the mills and they saw the need now to bring more people in more mills into the mix.

Speaker 4: So that single product this year for us was a tremendous, could have had a tremendous difference in how our year ran, both from a profitability and sales standpoint.

That single product this year for us was a tremendous.

Could have had a tremendous difference in how our year ran both from a profitability and sales or sales standpoint.

Speaker 4: So I believe that the platforms that we're in are robust and we'll be able not only to sustain but help increase our sales and bottom line in the future. Our folks in business development have been very successful at bringing in some additional opportunities. We're getting traction with nuclear submarines.

I believe that the platforms that we're in a robust and will be able not only to sustain but you help increase.

Our sales and bottom line in the future.

They are all our folks in business development have been very successful at bringing in some additional opportunities we get traction with nuclear submarines. We now do business with three sub tiers and we've had we've had.

Speaker 4: We now do business with three sub-tiers, and we've had, you know, electric boat in our facilities. We're going through the vetting process to do work directly for them. So the mix that we have currently running is more than sustainable. We just got to overcome the material shortages that are just not.

Electric boat in our facilities, we're going through the vetting process to do work directly for them.

So the mix that we have currently running our AR is is more than sustainable we just got to overcome the material shortages that are just not.

We're just not seeing a problem, but it's an industry wide affect and thank God, we're seeing the tail end of that and we're seeing things ease up for 24.

Speaker 4: We're just not seeing the problem, but it's an industry-wide effect. And thank God we're seeing the tail end of that and we're seeing things ease up for 2024.

Speaker 7: Okay, and so given that, you know, you're ramping up the bookings, like you said in the press release that, you know, six million a month approximately, do you have...

Okay and so.

Given that you're ramping up the bookings like you said in the press release that you now 6 million a month approximately.

Do you have calling out now a year or two why are you do you have better visibility into those.

Speaker 7: out now, a year or two, are you, do you have better visibility into those

Gross margins Youre able to attain on those bookings or Elisa minimums out there.

Speaker 5: We are looking into that. We, of course, are doing our homework on the pricing, but many of these bookings that we are getting are for repeat business that we've made before, repeat parts. So we believe the margin on those parts will be better than, you know,

We're looking into that we of course are doing our homework on the pricing, but many of these bookings that we're getting.

Our for repeat business that we've made before repeat parts. So we believe the margin on those parts will be better than.

You know products that we havent made before obviously additionally.

Speaker 5: products that we haven't made before, obviously. Additionally, as Lou said, we believe, based on the easing of this material shortage for this one specific product, which is a high margin or higher margin product, we will be able to increase our margins based on that. Of course, with that work now going through our shop, our throughput will increase as well, and we'll be able to absorb more.

As Lou said, we believe based on the easing of this material shortage for on this one specific product.

Which is a high margin or high earn margin product, we will be able to increase our margins based on that of course with that work now going to go through our shop or throughput will increase as well and we'll be able to absorb more or manufacturing overhead with the additional hours going through the shop.

Speaker 5: manufacturing overhead with the additional hours going through the shop.

Speaker 4: You know, Howard, the platforms, the platforms are priced right.

Howard.

The platforms the platforms are priced right.

Speaker 4: It's the under-absorption that's catching up to us. You know, this year we incurred about a 30,000 delta in hours, less hours, running through the shop.

It's the under absorption that's catching up to us. This year. We this year, we incurred about a 30000.

Delta and hours less hours running through the shop.

Due to material availability and that's a big number so we see that easing up.

Speaker 4: due to material availability. And that's a big number. So we see that easing up, which once you cover the absorption, you're in a different game.

Once you cover the absorption you're in a different a different game.

And with and with being able to produce more generate you know us.

Speaker 7: And with being able to produce more, generate, you know, get it out the door, generate higher sales, you're not really going to have to increase operating expenses.

Get it out the door generate higher sales youre, not really going to have to increase operating expenses, even in the correct. Yes, okay. I am I am 120% confident that the execution level at Air Industries Group design is on peak right now where that is not the problem.

Speaker 4: I am 120% confident that the execution level at Air Industries Group is on peak right now. That is not the problem.

Speaker 4: Execution right now is not the problem. The people are primed, the equipment is set up, we brought in, you know, we spent quite a bit of money on CapEx in the last few years to be able to support what we need to do.

And right now is not the problem that people are primed. The equipment is set up we brought in we spent quite a bit of money on capex in the last few years to to be able to support what we need to do.

Speaker 7: And just on the sales line, just based on what you said in the press release, we should be able to do better than, we should have a sequential increase from that 12.3, but we might not reach the peak that we had in the second quarter of over $13 million. Am I in a roughly right guesstimate in that area?

Okay and just.

On the sales line just based on what you said in the press release, we should be able to do better than.

We should have a sequential increase from that $12 three but we might not reach the peak that we had in the second quarter of over $13 million am I in a rough.

Roughly right a guesstimate in that area.

I think you're in the ballpark.

Speaker 7: I know you put in a lot of hard work this year and hopefully things will only keep getting better each quarter as we go forward.

Okay, Okay, well I know you put out in a lot of hard work this year and hopefully a cross our fingers things will only keep getting better each quarter as we go forward.
