Can you provide us some color on what your take is for your short term and mid to longer term outlook for your auto business. And also what's the forecast for LG displays auto business growth and profitability going forward.
Speaker Change: Yes, this is Song Jae-hwan from Auto Marketing Product Planning. Initially, the automotive market was in a gradual recovery phase this year, but due to recent issues such as tariff issues, a slowdown in electric vehicle growth, and prolonged sluggishness of European and American OEMs, we currently believe that the overall automotive market will find it difficult to exceed 90 million units this year.
Speaker Change: Fortunately, the automotive display is being adopted regardless of whether it is an electric vehicle or an internal combustion vehicle, and the adoption rate per vehicle and the trend towards larger displays are still accelerating. As a result, the market size for LTPS LCD and OLED is expected to continue growing.
Speaker Change: I am Sung Kim, I'm VP in charge of auto marketing. If you look at the greater auto market, we are in the gradual recovery phase, but because there are certain issues that have newly emerged such as the telephone issue as well as the slowing of the EV growth and the OEM in Europe and US have been experiencing quite a bit of stagnation. Because of all these factors this year, we expect that it will be quite difficult for the overall auto market to report more than 90 million units of vehicles. But having said that, fortunately, if you look at in-vehicle display, regardless of whether a car is an EV or IC, we see a per vehicle basis, the percent of adoption of such displays is increasing and we see accelerated speed of shift to a larger panels.
Speaker Change: Yes. The auto business has grown at an average annual rate exceeding 10% over the past four years since 2020, and we expect a similar level of stable growth over the next three years in the medium to long term. We successfully transitioned to LTPS and LCD faster than our competitors, and stable growth is expected based on large-scale OLED orders.
Speaker Change: So, the auto business is 2020 for the past four years. It posted a growth on a carrier basis of around 10% over the past four years. So, from a mid to longer term perspective, going forward at least for three years to come, we're expecting a steady growth trend. We will continue to strengthen sales and profitability based on differentiated OLED LCD technologies such as filter display, switchable privacy, and fandom, and solidify our leadership in the market.
