The real asymmetry is in companies that gain from grid stress and resilience spending, not just higher commodity prices. Another underappreciated point: repeated heat events accelerate capex approvals for grid hardening, cooling systems, and water-efficient industrial equipment, creating a medium-term demand tail that is more durable than the weather shock itself.
