Here are Thursday's biggest analyst calls: Nvidia, Apple, SpaceX, Blackrock, Cintas, Amazon, JPMorgan & more

Wall Street was broadly constructive with multiple upgrades/initiations, including JPMorgan upgrading BlackRock to overweight and lifting its Dec-2026 price target to $1,364, and Raymond James upgrading AeroVironment to Outperform with a $210 target. Tech and AI-adjacent calls skew positive as Keybanc raised Amazon’s PT to $335 and initiated/covered several semi/AI-infra names (e.g., Benchmark Buy on Synopsys at $570; Baird Outperform on nVent at $188 citing NVIDIA-aligned cooling). Offsetting notes included BTIG downgrading Etsy to neutral on valuation and Seaport reiterating Nvidia as sell over pricing concerns, keeping overall impact moderate.

Analysis

The cleanest cross-article signal is that AI capex is widening from “chips” into the supporting stack: power, cooling, interconnect, and design IP. That matters because the margin pool is shifting toward vendors with lower customer concentration and less headline risk than the GPU platform itself, while still riding the same spending cycle. In the next 1-3 months, this should favor NVT, CDNS, SNPS, RMBS, and likely BLK indirectly through equity-market beta and fee leverage; the market is still underestimating how much of the AI budget gets spent before a single model training dollar is monetized.

The more interesting second-order risk is that some of the bull case depends on capex remaining elastic despite higher system costs. If Nvidia-level pricing power pushes customers into financing and slows deployment, the ecosystem can still work, but the winners will narrow to the infrastructure vendors with true bottleneck exposure rather than the broader AI trade. That creates a tactical short opportunity in the most crowded, highest-multiple AI expression, while the more industrial picks-and-shovels names should be less fragile over 6-18 months if data-center buildout stays intact.

On the consumer side, the message is more asymmetric: premium discretionary and marketplace names with stretched expectations look vulnerable to even small demand disappointments, especially if real rates stay elevated. LULU is the cleanest short because the market is paying for flawless execution into a slower-growth backdrop; ETSY is a secondary valuation short, but with less catalyst density. Contrarian risk: if rates roll over faster than expected, housing/mortgage levered names like RKT can re-rate sharply, and any broad risk-on tape will force shorts to cover before fundamentals fully improve.
