The market is still paying for peak-cycle optionality in SNDK, but the more important signal is that the marginal buyer is now vulnerable to any normalization in NAND pricing. In memory, fundamentals can look “cheap” at the top of the cycle because forward earnings are backward-looking; when spot and contract pricing turn, multiples usually compress before estimates do.

Second-order, the real downstream beneficiaries of a cooling NAND tape would be hyperscale buyers and server integrators, not the broad AI complex.
