The key implication is not that a niche accelerator suddenly becomes a winner, but that low-latency inference is proving to be a viable procurement category alongside general-purpose GPU stacks. That matters because it expands the addressable spend for CBRS in the subset of workloads where latency, not peak throughput, is the purchasing criterion. Early validation events can support multiple expansion for 1-3 months, yet revenue only re-rates if they translate into backlog, repeat orders, and visible utilization. The contrarian view is that consensus may be over-weighting latency and under-weighting software inertia, integration costs, and buyer preference for a single vendor across training plus inference. An OpenAI preview is a weak proxy for enterprise adoption; procurement teams care about total cost per token, deployment friction, and supply certainty.
