According to Pu, Apple will use a combination of titanium and aluminum for the device. Bloomberg previously described the device as resembling “two titanium iPhone Airs side-by-side.” In a new to investors seen by 9to5Mac, Pu explained that iPhone 18 Fold’s metal frame will use a hybrid of titanium and aluminum. The analyst doesn’t share any additional details on the design. Ming-Chi Kuo previously reported the iPhone 18 Fold’s hinge will combine stainless steel and titanium, while the casing would exclusively use titanium. As it stands today, Apple only uses titanium in the iPhone Air.
