This is not just a better quarter; it is evidence that memory has become the new scarce input to the AI stack. That creates a winner/loser wedge: MU gets the first claim on AI capex, while DRAM-heavy peers and downstream server assemblers face a tougher mix if HBM allocation continues to crowd out standard memory.

The bigger implication is that this cycle may be more durable than prior memory upswings because supply elasticity is constrained by process complexity, not just wafer starts.
