The stock can move on narrative, yet intrinsic value only improves if management converts permits and site readiness into a credible capex plan with tolerable dilution; otherwise each milestone just increases the amount of capital that must be raised.

The nearest beneficiaries are not the obvious public comps but the local drilling, civil, and rig service ecosystem that gets paid before a single tonne is sold. For incumbent potash producers like MOS, the second-order effect is more about basin validation than earnings impact; any real competitive pressure is years away and depends on whether the project can scale below existing delivered-cost curves. Until then, the more relevant read-through for MOS is that new supply can cap long-duration potash multiples if project economics prove repeatable.

The real risk is that small-cap resource projects often peak on “construction” headlines and then fade when the market sees the financing package. The next 1-3 months should be driven by technical results, capex disclosure, and funding structure; the 6-18 month thesis depends on offtake and whether the build behaves like a modest industrial project or an expensive science experiment.
