The main risk is timing mismatch: the headline is bullish, but the commercial milestones sit far enough out that the stock may have already discounted a large fraction of the option value. There is also execution risk that the product remains a niche inference appliance rather than a broad platform, which would cap TAM and keep margin contribution muted. For Meta, the upside is lower TCO and power draw; the downside is supplier concentration and the possibility that bespoke silicon efforts reduce dependence on third-party CPUs before this architecture scales.
