Analysis

This is less about one startup and more about who owns the enterprise control plane for agentic work. The near-term beneficiary set is the vendors already sitting on identity, workflow, and operational telemetry; they can monetize trust and distribution, while niche integration layers risk being abstracted away by a standard protocol. That argues for selective upside in platform software, but not for paying up for pure “AI assistant” branding.

The second-order loser is the labor-intensive glue layer: SIs, custom automation projects, and RPA-style tooling that sells scripted actions instead of governed context. If AI assistants can query infrastructure state inside RBAC, the value shifts from building connectors to owning the workflow and approval layer.
