Here are Friday's biggest analyst calls: Nvidia, Apple, Tesla, Chipotle, Disney, Robinhood, Coinbase & more

Wall Street calls were broadly constructive, led by upgrades/initiations on Qualcomm, Nvidia, Chipotle, Apple, Tesla, Onto Innovation, Guardant Health, and others, with several firms highlighting AI, catalysts, and favorable valuation setups. Negative calls were limited to downgrades on Lululemon and CrowdStrike, plus a neutral-but-bearish fresh pick on Coinbase, while Deutsche Bank raised Robinhood's price target to $98 from $88. Overall, the note is a stock-specific analyst-driven roundup rather than a market-wide macro event.

Analysis

The tape is saying the market still rewards scarcity of growth, but only when the growth is either AI-adjacent or visibly self-funding. The highest-conviction beneficiaries are the picks-and-shovels names tied to semiconductor capex and AI deployment — FORM and ONTO — because they have more leverage to a multi-quarter equipment cycle than the headline GPU winners, and they carry less narrative risk if AI spend broadens beyond hyperscalers. NVDA remains the cleanest expression of the theme, but the real second-order read is that every incremental dollar of AI infrastructure spend keeps lifting the entire test/inspection stack, which is where upside revisions tend to be stickier.

The consumer/cyclical call set is much more fragile. LULU looks less like a one-off miss and more like a demand-normalization problem in a category that has been over-earned for years; if management has to lean into promos, that pressures the whole premium-athleisure cohort and makes the earnings reset a months-long rather than quarter-long issue. By contrast, DIS and Chipotle are the kind of names where sentiment can reverse quickly if execution is merely adequate — both are trading on reacceleration, so the catalyst window is short and the downside is mostly multiple compression if the promised inflection slips.

In healthcare, the market is rewarding asymmetry: CHOY? No — COYA, STTK, GH, CON, and SHC are all being priced on future catalyst optionality rather than current fundamentals. That makes them attractive for event-driven positioning, but it also means the stock reaction can be binary around readouts, reimbursement, or commercial adoption; the key risk is that “durable model” gets re-rated lower if timelines slip even one quarter. Guardant is the clearest quality compounder here because free-cash-flow visibility can re-rate the whole liquid-biopsy basket if pricing and contribution metrics land well.
