This is more meaningful as a financing and strategic-optionality update than as a near-term NPV change. The key mechanism is that higher downstream yield and battery-grade purity improve the odds Titan can secure cheaper project capital, a stronger offtake structure, or strategic sponsorship from a domestic supply-chain buyer; that matters more than the lab percentages themselves. In the next 1-3 months, the stock can keep grinding if customer qualification and the feasibility study tighten the path to construction, but the market will still demand evidence of scale-up, not just metallurgical proof.

Relative winners are the broader U.S./non-China graphite supply-chain theme and any battery OEM or defense/industrial buyer that needs domestic-content exposure. Relative losers are higher-cost North American graphite developers that lack an integrated downstream story; Titan’s better conversion economics raise the bar for peers like WWR/NMG/GPH to justify premium multiples without similar processing credibility. Chinese spherical graphite incumbents are the structural loser over 6-18 months if domestic qualification progresses, because Titan’s moat is not ore grade, it is the ability to offer a compliant, end-to-end channel.
