NatGold Digital fait le point sur le retard pris dans le lancement des opérations boursières de NATG et achève la tokenisation d'une deuxième propriété aurifère aux États-Unis

NatGold Digital completed the tokenization of its second certified gold resource, increasing total NATG generated and issued from 57,200 to 106,800 (+49,600 NATG from Alaska 4 in Idaho). However, NATG trading on Kraken—scheduled for July 8, 2026—has not yet started, with no reason or new start date provided. The company says 5% of NATG from each resource went to a NatGold reserve fund (total 5,340 NATG) and 2% to a social reinvestment program (2,136 NATG), and it now shifts to scaling further certifications and tokenizations.

Analysis

This reads less like an asset launch and more like a liquidity and venue-risk event. In digital assets, the first tradable print matters more than the number of units minted: if the exchange leg slips, the market will quickly discount the issuer’s operational credibility and the paper value of adjacent “real-world asset” tokenization stories. That is a negative signal for the entire niche because it suggests distribution and compliance are the bottlenecks, not asset creation.

Winners are the incumbent wrappers that do not depend on a single new listing venue: GLD/IAU, and to a lesser extent large-cap gold miners, because institutional capital typically prefers established custody and redemption rails over bespoke token structures. Losers are early-stage tokenization platforms and any microcap gold-linked token project whose valuation depends on narrative momentum; a failed or delayed launch raises the risk premium on all similar offerings and may slow underwriter/exchange willingness to list them.

The key risk/catalyst is execution over the next 1-3 weeks: if the venue opens and there is real two-way volume, this becomes noise; if the delay persists beyond that window, expect widening spreads, lower market confidence, and possible markdowns across comparable RWA tokens over 1-3 months. The contrarian point is that this is not primarily an opinion on gold prices; it is a test of whether tokenized commodity claims can clear, settle, and attract durable liquidity. On GOOGL, the read-through is effectively zero.
