OGDCL discovered gas at the Sahito-1 exploratory well, testing 17.2 million standard cubic feet per day through a 32/64-inch choke at 3,390 psi; the well was spudded on Dec 24, 2025 and drilled to 3,870m TVD. The find targets the Massive sand interval of the Lower Goru Formation and is expected to add to company and national hydrocarbon reserves and help close Pakistan's energy demand-supply gap. OGDCL holds a 95% working interest (Government Holdings (Private) Limited 5% carried) and disclosed the result under Section 96 of the Securities Act, 2015 and PSX Clause 5.6.1(a).
