Until those three boxes are checked, the equity is still trading on narrative optionality rather than durable EBITDA.

The immediate winner is probably the stock itself on sentiment, but that move is usually short-lived in microcap infrastructure stories. The second-order read-through is that onsite testing capability reduces one key execution risk: if purity spec is validated in-house, the company can shorten commissioning cycles and potentially improve gross margin by cutting off-site validation costs. The bigger loser, if this ramps successfully, is not large industrial gases peers; it would be local niche distributors or smaller hydrogen suppliers with weaker balance sheets and less ability to absorb capex.

The main risk is dilution, not demand. If fall commissioning slips by even one quarter, the company may need incremental capital before revenue scales, which tends to compress valuation faster than operational progress can expand it. The contrarian view is that investors may be overvaluing the symbolic importance of construction completion while underweighting the hard part: converting installed capacity into contracted, high-utilization output. For a thesis to work, we need visible throughput, not just equipment arrivals.
