NEVADA KING INTERCEPTS 4.68 G/T AU OVER 7.3M AND 1.00 G/T AU OVER 26.8M NEAR SURFACE AND BOTTOMING IN MINERALIZATION AT EAST RIDGE TARGET

Nevada King Gold reported high-grade near-surface gold from RAB drilling at the East Ridge Target, including 4.68 g/t Au over 7.3m (starting 21.9m depth) in AT26ERB-16, and 1.00 g/t Au over 26.8m (starting 2.4m depth) in AT26ERB-42; notably, these holes bottomed in mineralization. The results support “blind” mineralized faults east of the Atlanta pit and outside the current resource area, with follow-up deeper RC drilling planned after Bureau of Land Management approval of PoO Mod 5 (adding 78 RC and 404 RAB drill sites). Overall, the update modestly improves the project’s exploration upside but remains early-stage given it is reconnaissance and pending deeper confirmation beyond 30m.

Analysis

This is a de-risking event for a shallow-oxide junior, but only at the margin. The market will care less about the assay print itself than whether it expands the near-pit mining inventory enough to improve strip ratio and support a larger starter pit; that is the lever that can change NPV and financing terms. If the structure repeats laterally, NKGFF/NKG can earn a higher quality multiple versus other Nevada explorers because incremental ounces close to infrastructure are worth disproportionately more than remote ounces.

The second-order effect is dilution avoidance. A credible path to converting waste into ore reduces the amount of capital needed to justify the project, which matters more than headline resource growth for a pre-revenue developer. But this only becomes economically meaningful if the deeper RC follow-up confirms continuity below 30m; without that, the release risks being treated as a narrow, high-beta exploration pop that fades once attention moves on.

The key catalyst is permitting, not geology, over the next 1-3 months. If PoO Mod 5 slips, the company loses the ability to rapidly capitalize on the new target model, and the stock should retrace even if the technical story remains intact. Contrarian view: the move may be overdone because investors often capitalize early-stage ounces at near-production valuations before tonnage, metallurgy, and mine design are proven; the falsifier is simple — weaker RC continuity or any material delay in permit approval.
