AllMind vs BlueFlame AI
AllMind is an AI research system for institutional investors: an entitled data corpus, a maintained financial ontology, and the firm’s own warehouse tables on it.
BlueFlame AI is a Datasite-owned agentic workspace for dealmakers, running over connected sources and, since May 2026, inside Datasite rooms.
One is shaped by a closing deal, the other by coverage that never closes.

Buy it when the work outlives the process: continuing coverage of listed names over 6,800+ premium data sources, agents that stay on one question long enough to walk an ontology across hundreds of data points, and the firm’s own warehouse read in place.
Buy it when the decisive work happens inside a Datasite room: permission-aware answers scoped to each buyer, Q&A drafting, risk flagging and audit reporting, wired to deal CRMs, research management systems and private-markets data you license.
Ask which system holds the firm’s research memory in the months when no process is live, and who maintains it. If the answer is nobody, that is the seat AllMind fills. If it is the deal team’s room, BlueFlame is already there.

Marks come from each vendor’s own public pages read on August 30 2026, plus Datasite’s product and press pages for anything inside the data room. “Not documented” means the vendor publishes no answer, not that the capability is absent. BlueFlame AI’s homepage advertises 3x higher retrieval accuracy from large data rooms against single-model providers, with no methodology, sample or named comparator, so it is not scored here. The company styles its own name Blueflame AI; this page uses the BlueFlame AI spelling that trade directories use.

A deal tool goes quiet when the deal closes
AllMind is built for the clock that keeps running after a process closes. AllMind states that one automation covers up to 200 companies in a single run and lands as Word or PDF, working over 6,800+ premium data sources that include S&P, FactSet, LSEG and MSCI data, broker research, Expert Insights, live news from thousands of sources worldwide, global investor-relations data and live earnings within minutes.
The ontology links each name to its suppliers, customers, estimates and filings, so an agent traverses relationships rather than re-reading folders, and every figure points at the passage it came from. BlueFlame is at its best while a process is live, inside Datasite Diligence and Acquire projects, answering from the files a given buyer is permitted to see. It documents scheduled Blueprints and inbox-triggered email agents, and publishes no multi-company run scale.
Connected data is not the same as included data
BlueFlame is a workspace over sources a firm licenses, not a corpus it owns. The integration directory reads well, FactSet, S&P Capital IQ, Preqin, Grata, Quartr and FMP, but the terms decide what it costs. BlueFlame’s own FactSet post of March 31 2026 says any user can reach FactSet data at an additional cost, and that certain datasets need a further license with FactSet. The July 2026 update scopes Preqin to mutual customers, and for Capital IQ, Grata, Quartr and FMP no terms are published either way.
AllMind sells the corpus itself: 6,800+ premium data sources spanning S&P, FactSet, LSEG and MSCI data, broker research, Expert Insights, live news from thousands of sources worldwide, global IR data, live earnings, alternative data and sector-specific collections, with Expert Insights shipping as a built-in class an analyst reaches from Chat, its own tab or the Data Room. The exception on AllMind’s side is broker research: live embargoed research still needs the firm’s own RMS entitlement, and aftermarket research arrives on a delay that varies by broker.
Your warehouse should join the corpus, not sit beside it
The difference is no longer the connection, it is what happens after it. BlueFlame shipped a managed Snowflake connector in May 2026, a managed MCP Connections Library on August 20 2026 covering knowledge bases, CRMs, warehouses and other core systems, and custom MCP connections a week later, with servers that stay client-hosted and access that mirrors each user’s existing rights in the connected system. Querying in place and inheriting entitlements is no longer a distinction.
AllMind reaches Snowflake, Databricks and S3 through a scoped IAM role, reads them without copying the data out, then maps what comes back into the same ontology as the external corpus, so a position table, an internal model and a broker note become entities an agent traverses together with listed-company data the firm never had to license separately. Neither route is a signup: it is a conversation with an engineering team on both sides, and BlueFlame’s custom connections are request-and-approve through its Connections tab.
Where BlueFlame AI is strong
BlueFlame AI put the agent where the decision is actually made. Since May 2026 it has run inside Datasite Diligence and Acquire projects, where Datasite says every response is scoped to each buyer’s access level, mirroring the staged disclosure built into the room. Datasite’s April 2026 MCP server, which lets Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot reach live deal content under the same permissions and audit logging, is a serious governance product.
The 2026 releases have been substantial: Amp coordinating models, skills and sources, 40+ prebuilt skills from sourcing through reporting, an Excel add-in, a managed MCP connections library in August and custom connections to a firm’s own systems a week later. The company states 125 clients and 3,000 users, up from 100 clients in August 2025, and took Private Equity Wire’s European AI technology award in February 2026. On stated compliance it is ahead of AllMind: SOC 2 Type II plus GDPR, CPRA and GLBA, against AllMind’s SOC 2 Type II and an ISO 27001 certification targeted for Q1 2027.
Two systems built around different clocks
AllMind
AI research system for institutional investors
AllMind ships an entitled data corpus underneath a maintained financial ontology, a map on which companies, suppliers, customers, estimates, filings and the firm’s own research sit as entities with relationships between them.
Agents work that map for as long as a question takes rather than returning one answer and stopping. Snowflake, Databricks and S3 are read in place through a scoped IAM role, with Drive and OneDrive folder sync on Data Rooms.
BlueFlame AI
Agentic deal workspace, a business unit of Datasite
BlueFlame is an LLM-agnostic workspace for dealmakers that reasons over the documents, CRM, research management system and third-party sources a firm connects.
Datasite announced the acquisition on July 23 2025 without disclosing terms, and BlueFlame’s own releases now describe it as a business unit of Datasite. Since May 2026 the agent runs inside Datasite Diligence and Acquire projects, where responses are scoped to each buyer’s access level.
What each one is good at, and what it costs you
AllMind
- The data corpus is included in the platform: 6,800+ premium data sources across content classes
- Expert Insights ships as a built-in content class, reachable from Chat, its own tab and the Data Room
- Snowflake, Databricks and S3 are queried in place through a scoped IAM role and mapped into the ontology
- Live earnings and financials are available within minutes of release
- Automations run on a schedule across a coverage list and deliver Word or PDF reports
- Every figure in a memo, model or deck traces back to the passage it was read from
- Not a VDR operator, so it cannot answer inside a Datasite Diligence or Acquire project
- No self-serve checkout and no monthly plan, so every purchase is a sales conversation
- Live embargoed broker research still needs the firm’s own RMS entitlement
- ISO 27001 is targeted for Q1 2027, while SOC 2 Type II was certified in November 2025
BlueFlame AI
- Answers inside Datasite Diligence and Acquire projects, scoped to each buyer’s access level
- Managed MCP connections library, plus custom client-hosted routes to a firm’s own systems
- 40+ prebuilt Skills from sourcing to reporting, plus an Excel add-in that works in the sheet
- Private-markets and private-company data via Preqin, S&P Capital IQ and Grata’s 19M+ company database
- 35+ models in one platform, so a firm can pin a model per workflow
- iPhone and Android apps with MDM/MAM, SSO, conditional access and remote wipe
- Ships no corpus of its own: content is whatever the firm connects and licenses
- FactSet data costs extra, and certain datasets need a further license with FactSet
- Inline citations cover newly indexed data only, not data already indexed (March 2026)
- The permission-aware agent needs a Datasite room, and standalone scope is not documented
What AllMind and BlueFlame AI actually cost
AllMind
Quote-based, with no self-serve checkout
AllMind sells on a quote. There is no monthly plan and no self-serve signup, which is a real limitation for a non-institutional user and the reason a retail buyer is better served elsewhere. No tier structure, seat price or minimum is published, so this page does not print one.
- List price
- Not published
- How it is sold
- Quote-based, no monthly plan
- Data included in the platform
- 6,800+ premium data sources
- Entitlement you still bring
- Live embargoed broker research, via your RMS
BlueFlame AI
No published pricing, and no outside estimate either
There is no pricing page to read: blueflame.ai/pricing returned a 404 on August 30 2026, and the homepage, platform, overview and solutions pages carry no tier, per-seat figure or minimum. Every route ends at a demo request. The unusual part is the second gap, because the procurement directories that publish contract data on large vendors hold nothing on BlueFlame either.
- Independent price estimate
- None found
- Connected FactSet data
- At an additional cost
- Seats the vendor counts
- 125 clients, 3,000 users
What changes the quote
Four things move a BlueFlame number, all from published product terms. Seat count is one: the vendor counts 125 clients and 3,000 users. Whose license pays for connected data is another, and only FactSet publishes terms, with Preqin scoped to mutual customers and the rest silent. Whether the firm already runs Datasite is the third, because the flagship surface sits inside Diligence and Acquire projects. Model consumption is the fourth, across the 35+ models BlueFlame advertises and 2B+ tokens a day.
On the AllMind side a quote moves on headcount, how much internal plumbing joins the corpus, and whether live embargoed broker research arrives through the firm’s own RMS entitlement.
The two contracts are not like-for-like. A BlueFlame quote buys a workspace over sources the firm licenses separately, and the Datasite room it runs inside sits on its own line. An AllMind quote includes the data corpus. Compare the total of what each stack costs once the connected subscriptions are added, not the two platform lines.
Which one you want, task by task
Second round on a carve-out. Four thousand files just landed in the Datasite room and the buyer wants a Q&A pass plus a risk list by Friday.
BlueFlame has run inside Datasite Diligence since May 2026, with answers scoped to each buyer’s access level, source links, risk flagging and audit reporting. No external research platform, AllMind included, sits inside the room.
Ninety listed names, quarterly guidance and estimate changes, and no headcount coming to help.
AllMind states one automation covers up to 200 companies in a single run, over an entitled corpus of 6,800+ premium data sources with live earnings within minutes, passage-level traceability and a verification pass before delivery. BlueFlame publishes no multi-company run scale.
Positions and internal notes live in Snowflake and a Databricks table, and the analyst wants one question asked across those and the broker research together.
BlueFlame reaches a warehouse too, so the connection is not what decides it. The other side of the join is: AllMind maps warehouse results into the same ontology as a corpus that already carries broker research, which BlueFlame does not publish.
The same investment team runs a deal book and a listed sleeve, and nobody wants a third subscription.
The two own different clocks. BlueFlame owns the live process inside Datasite and the private-markets sources connected around it, licensed from those vendors rather than included. AllMind owns continuing listed coverage, Expert Insights and the internal-data joins that persist after a deal closes.
AllMind and BlueFlame AI reward different clocks: coverage that has to hold up between transactions, or the weeks a Datasite room is open.
AllMind is not a VDR operator. While a room is open with staged buyer permissions, BlueFlame sits somewhere no external research platform reaches.
AllMind’s claim is the rest of the year: 6,800+ premium data sources under a financial ontology, Expert Insights and live earnings beside the firm’s own Snowflake, Databricks or S3, and agents that work a problem for hours and return memos in which every number points at its source. Firms running a deal book and a listed sleeve usually buy both, and should settle which is the system of record.
AllMind vs BlueFlame AI, answered
Partly: AllMind replaces BlueFlame for continuing coverage of listed companies, but not for work inside a Datasite deal room.
BlueFlame AI has been owned by Datasite since 2025 and is an agentic workspace for dealmakers that reasons over the documents, CRM and third-party sources a firm connects. Since May 2026 it also runs inside Datasite Diligence and Acquire projects.
AllMind ships its own entitled corpus of 6,800+ premium data sources, maps it into a maintained financial ontology, and reads a firm’s Snowflake, Databricks and S3 where they already live.
