AstraZeneca said its Imfinzi regimen combined with Amgen's targeted immunotherapy Imdelltra significantly improved overall survival in a late-stage trial for first-line extensive-stage small-cell lung cancer. The positive Phase 3 outcome could support a new treatment option and strengthen the commercial outlook for both companies' oncology portfolios.
