Novo says its next-gen obesity drug tops Lilly rival in late-stage study

Novo Nordisk said its next-generation experimental obesity drug delivered estimated average weight loss of 12.4% in a late-stage trial. The company said the treatment outperformed Eli Lilly's competing drug, strengthening Novo's competitive position in the high-growth weight-loss medicines market.
