New Research: MCP Servers Connect AI Agents to China, Russia, Home Networks and Abandoned Domains

OX Security's analysis of 15,465 published Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers found that AI agents may be weakening established cloud-security governance, including through connections to private home networks. The findings highlight an expanding attack surface and data-security risk as enterprises deploy AI agents and MCP-based integrations.
