Hercules Capital Outperformed My Expectations But I'm Not Buying

Hercules Capital is rated Hold after its valuation rebounded to a 45% premium to book value, limiting further upside despite improving fundamentals. Net investment income per share remained stable, NAV increased 2.1% quarter-over-quarter, and credit quality improved year-over-year, including a 600bp increase in Grade 1-rated investments.
