Australia's Santos acquires additional 3.3% interest in Papua LNG

Santos acquired an additional 3.3% interest in Papua LNG from TotalEnergies for $189 million, raising its total project stake to 21%. The transaction increases Santos' exposure to the major LNG development and is modestly positive for its long-term gas asset portfolio.
