Asia Risks Unrest as El Niño, War Threaten Food Supplies, Consultancy Says

Verisk Maplecroft warned that severe weather disruptions will intensify food-security risks across Asia, raising the potential for civil unrest and political instability. India, Indonesia and the Philippines were identified as particularly vulnerable, creating downside risks for agricultural supply, food prices and emerging-market stability.
