The second-order winner is not just the company’s top line, but its negotiating leverage with developers facing tight project timelines. More high-spec installation capacity can compress bottlenecks in offshore wind commissioning, which helps project completion economics and should modestly support peers that need near-term grid connection and CODs. The flip side is that if the broader offshore wind cycle stays soft, added fleet capacity can become a margin drag via depreciation and crew overhead before it becomes an earnings driver.
