The best Daloopa alternative depends on which part of Daloopa you are trying to replace. For broader institutional research and finished deliverables, AllMind is the strongest first pilot. For an established data workstation with Excel refresh, evaluate S&P Capital IQ Pro, FactSet, or LSEG Workspace. For an agent that builds native files, consider Model ML; for a low-friction API trial, consider Fiscal.ai. If source-linked earnings updates into a house model are the bottleneck, keeping Daloopa may be the best decision.
How this documented comparison was built
This is a documented comparison based on public product pages and vendor documentation opened on August 30, 2026. We did not operate the shortlisted products in a shared test environment, so competitor features below are vendor-reported unless identified as an inference, and there are no scores, speed rankings, or comparative accuracy claims.
We build AllMind, and it is one of the products discussed, so weigh our stake as you read. The recommendation is conditional, the table keeps the jobs where Daloopa or another vendor wins, and our own hardest limitation sits next to our case rather than in a footnote.
The shortlist answers five procurement questions:
- Does the team need to refresh an existing Excel model or build a new artifact?
- Is the missing input fundamental data, a wider research corpus, or the firm's own material?
- Must every number open to its original disclosure?
- Does work need to run unattended and end as a memo, deck, or model?
- Can the buyer start with a self-serve trial, or is enterprise implementation acceptable?
Daloopa alternatives by the job you need done
| Reader decision | First option to evaluate | Checkable public evidence | Boundary to test | Published commercial path, checked Aug. 30 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Keep a house model current with deep, source-linked fundamentals | Keep Daloopa | Daloopa documents an Excel Add-In, 6,000+ covered tickers, 14 years of history, and links from values to original sources on its product site | Scout uses Daloopa data only, stays inside Excel, and cannot be scheduled | Free tier permits up to three Data Sheets; paid tiers say “Speak with Sales” on the plans page |
| Connect public, licensed, and internal research, then produce a cited artifact | AllMind | Our ontology joins filings, transcripts, estimates, and internal notes; scoped RMS, portfolio, file, warehouse, lakehouse, cloud, database, pipeline, and API connections are available (ask us for the complete integration list); Reports and Agent Studio carry work into cited drafts and monitoring | No native Excel add-in, though we build Excel models with live formulas and edit an XLSX a team supplies; the in-workbook add-in refresh stays with Daloopa | Quote based; no self-serve checkout |
| Replace several data and Office tools with one broad workstation | S&P Capital IQ Pro | Capital IQ Pro Office documents one-click model refresh, source review for most calculations, Excel screening, and prebuilt templates on its Office page | Verify company-specific KPI depth, refresh timing, and source coverage on the exact fields in your model | No public rate card |
| Combine commercial data, proprietary inputs, Office automation, and scheduled refresh | FactSet | FactSet describes hundreds of commercial content sets plus proprietary data and Office integrations in its technology overview | The public overview does not establish parity with Daloopa's company-specific series | No public rate card |
| Keep an LSEG-centered data and presentation workflow | LSEG Workspace | The Workspace Add-in announcement documents Excel and PowerPoint data discovery, simplified formulas, metadata, and reusable assets | Confirm which fundamentals and estimates are enabled in the buyer's current package | No public rate card |
| Build and revise Excel, Word, and PowerPoint files with one project-aware agent | Model ML | Model ML's July 2026 plugin release describes shared context across Office files and project-wide Excel updates | It is a workflow layer; the pages reviewed do not document a Daloopa-like fundamental dataset of its own | Demo-led; no public rate card found |
| Trial a source-linked financial API or MCP workflow without enterprise procurement | Fiscal.ai | Its free API trial allows 100 companies and 250 calls per day; its MCP skills documentation describes filing-linked financial-model and KPI workflows | The free API allowance is a validation environment, not institutional coverage, and it does not refresh a house workbook through a documented Excel add-in | Free API trial; paid commercial terms via sales |
This is a routing table, not a ranking. S&P Capital IQ Pro can be the correct choice for a firm standardizing on its data estate even if Daloopa captures a more useful niche KPI. A team can also keep Daloopa underneath AllMind, Model ML, or an assistant instead of demanding that one contract do two different jobs.
First decide whether Daloopa is actually the layer to replace
Daloopa describes itself as one data layer for multiple workflows. Its public site centers structured fundamentals and KPIs delivered through Data Sheets, an Excel Add-In, an API, cloud integrations, and MCP. The company states coverage of 6,000+ public companies, 14 years of history, and 4 to 10 times more data points per company than other providers. Those are vendor claims, not findings from this review, but they make the product's center of gravity clear: the number, its history, and its source.
The boundary is equally clear in Daloopa's Scout documentation. Scout uses Daloopa data only, works in Excel, requires Excel to remain open, cannot be scheduled, and does not export PDF or PowerPoint files. That does not make it incomplete. It means a buyer should not compare its earnings-night model update with a research platform's morning brief as though they were the same task.
Daloopa's partners page is evidence for the complement case. It places Daloopa data inside Claude, OpenAI products, Perplexity, Rogo, Glean, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Gemini Enterprise, and Hebbia, and delivers data into Snowflake, Databricks, and S3. Daloopa is explicitly designed to sit beneath other working surfaces. If a desk likes its data but dislikes the work that follows, adding a research or deliverable layer can be a cleaner decision than migrating the models.
The broader institutional workflow case for AllMind
AllMind is our platform, and it is the strongest first pilot for an institutional equity team whose work begins before the model update and continues after it. Four mechanisms create that fit: direct data relationships, an ontology that connects companies and their sources, in-place access to Snowflake, Databricks, or S3, and product surfaces that turn cited research into recurring reports. Our live Data Sources & Integrations catalog documents Redshift, BigQuery, GCS, Azure, Redis, MongoDB, pipelines, RMS, portfolio and risk systems, file stores, and internal APIs. The 72+ core categories cover reported actuals, company guidance with its revision history, consensus and analyst estimates from LSEG I/B/E/S, broker models through Visible Alpha, downloadable prebuilt company models in Excel, operating KPIs and segment detail, filings, broker research, transcripts, alternative and internal data, and more than 40 exchange and venue feeds. Reports can draft earnings reviews, investment memos, comps analyses, and company primers, while agents monitor new filings, transcripts, and news on a schedule.
The same catalog lists 6,800+ premium data sources licensed from 100+ providers and partners across 18 current North American and European markets, including routes to S&P Global, FactSet, LSEG, MSCI, and CME Group venues. Breadth is not entitlement: none of that proves a particular field, dataset, or redistribution right is in a given buyer's package.
The finished artifact is what separates this case from a data-feed purchase: a cited earnings note, coverage report, comp analysis, deck, or model that can incorporate the desk's own prior work. Our current deployments include end-to-end model building, KPI work, live investor-relations research, and full sell-side model buildouts. The linked pages substantiate the reporting, monitoring, data, and ontology mechanisms behind that work; for the variant you care about, ask us to demonstrate it on your names rather than taking this paragraph on faith.
There is a real limit on our side. We do not ship a native Excel add-in that rolls a reported quarter into the exact workbook an analyst already maintains, though we do build full Excel models with live formulas and edit an XLSX, PPTX or DOCX a team hands us. Connecting internal systems takes an implementation conversation, and our pricing is sales-led rather than self-serve. If the pass condition is “refresh this house model at 4:05 p.m. with source links,” Daloopa remains the better first choice. In many institutional stacks, the honest recommendation is Daloopa underneath and AllMind above it.
Three established workstation routes for Excel-centered teams
S&P Capital IQ Pro is the closest branch when the buyer wants broad market intelligence and Office tooling from one incumbent. Its Office page says models and datasets refresh with one click, most calculations can be reviewed back to source, screens run inside Excel, and hundreds of templates are available. That breadth is useful for comps, private-company work, transactions, and presentations. It does not prove that every niche operating KPI has Daloopa-level history, so the procurement test should focus on the 20 hardest rows in the buyer's real model.
FactSet makes a different consolidation case. Its technology overview says the platform combines equity and fixed-income analytics, streaming data, hundreds of commercial content sets, and proprietary holdings, estimates, and research. Office add-ins support model creation, analysis, presentations, and automation. FactSet's Pitch Creator release also documents source-linked Office workflows and on-demand or scheduled cloud refresh for Excel models. A current contract can still vary by content entitlement, so “FactSet” is not a complete coverage specification. Test the exact dataset, formula, schedule, and redistribution rights in the quote.
LSEG Workspace belongs on the list when a desk already depends on LSEG data and wants that context inside Excel and PowerPoint. The June 2025 launch page documents simplified formulas, calculation metadata, annotations, and reusable charts, tables, and slides. It also said the new add-in launched with deals data and that further datasets would follow. That dated scope makes one question mandatory in 2026 procurement: which fundamentals, estimates, and historical fields are enabled today for this user, region, and license?
Agent-built files and a lower-friction data trial
Model ML addresses the work after data arrives. Its July 2026 release says one agent carries context across Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, can propagate an assumption change across project files, and can build a valuation book in a house template. That is a credible alternative when the pain is keeping a model, memo, and deck synchronized. It is not evidence of a proprietary fundamental-data layer comparable with Daloopa. Ask which data contracts the workflow requires and whether source links survive into each native file.
Fiscal is the easiest programmatic route in this shortlist to validate without a sales cycle. Its current documentation offers a free API key for 100 companies and 250 calls per day, with the same restrictions applied through MCP. The vendor's MCP skills describe source-linked statement pulls, a three-statement model delivered as a spreadsheet, and segment and KPI analysis. That can establish whether its definitions and filing links suit a team's workflow. A free test is not proof of enterprise coverage, permissions, service levels, or an ability to update a bespoke house workbook.
Run a replacement test that separates data from workflow
Use one recently reported company, one company with a segment recast, and one industry with difficult non-GAAP KPIs. Supply the same source documents, workbook, periods, and acceptance rules to every vendor. Do not let each sales team select a showcase ticker.
| Test | Input | Pass condition |
|---|---|---|
| House-model update | The desk's current workbook and latest earnings release | Values land in the correct rows and periods without breaking formulas or formatting |
| Lineage | 20 source-critical historical values | Every value opens to the relevant disclosure and retains period and unit |
| Definition control | GAAP, adjusted, guidance, and company-specific KPI rows | The system preserves definitions and labels transformations rather than silently normalizing them |
| Recast handling | A company that renamed a segment or restated history | Changed history is identified and the prior series is not overwritten without notice |
| Coverage depth | The 20 hardest metrics across three names | Missing fields are explicit; no substitute metric is presented as the requested one |
| Finished work | The updated model plus the required note or deck | All promised artifacts are editable, sourced, and consistent with the workbook |
| Operations | One scheduled or unattended run, if claimed | Start condition, completion notice, failures, and retries are visible |
| Total cost | The same users, data rights, usage, and implementation period | The quote includes required data subscriptions, credits, support, and the second tool still needed |
Record failures, not just elapsed time. A blank marked “not covered” is safer than a fluent value from the wrong period. Publish no accuracy percentage unless every graded cell, exclusion, and judgment rule can be inspected.
What public sources cannot settle
The public record does not establish comparable accuracy, latency, KPI depth, entitlement scope, or total contract cost across these products. Daloopa publishes accuracy and depth claims without a common test against this shortlist. S&P Capital IQ Pro, FactSet, LSEG Workspace, AllMind, and Model ML do not publish like-for-like rate cards. Product access can also vary by plan, data license, region, and rollout.
Our catalog shows the 100+ provider-and-partner footprint, but buyers must still verify the particular dataset, field, entitlement, and use rights in their package. The LSEG add-in announcement does not establish which later datasets reached every user. Fiscal's free API limits describe a trial, not a production contract. These are procurement questions, not blanks to fill with estimates.
Sources and methodology
Primary product sources were opened on August 30, 2026. Daloopa evidence came from its product site, plans, Scout limits, and partners pages. Alternative evidence came from S&P Capital IQ Pro Office, FactSet's technology overview and Pitch Creator release, the LSEG Workspace Add-in release, Model ML's Office plugin release, and Fiscal's free-trial and MCP skills documentation.
If your team is deciding between replacement and extension, bring one live workbook, the last two earnings packages, three source-critical KPIs, and the required final artifact to the AllMind research challenge. Ask us to show what we can complete, what still belongs in Daloopa, and whether citations survive into review. “Keep Daloopa under the workflow” is a valid outcome of that test, and we would rather earn the layer above it than pretend to replace the one below.
